Every time I thought I had figured out what was going to happen next, Laurie surprised me! The whole idea of being able to know the death of every single person you met was an incredible plot. I read this book in a span of 24 hours and once I got into it, I couldn’t put it down. In my opinion, this book was awesome! It started out a little slow and was quite vague at some points, but all in all, probably a 80%. All throughout, she tries to prove herself and find the killer. Nobody will listen to her and her best friend Stubby gets involved, causing even more ruckus. Then, suddenly, she ends up in the middle of a murder investigation with the FBI, only she didn’t do it. After her father passes away and her mom hits the bottle a little too hard, she starts to charge people to have “readings” with them to learn when they are going to die. In brief summary, the main character (Maddie Fynn) can see the dates when the people around her are going to die. I just complete the book When by Victoria Laurie.
